2010 Wii - build up a golfer question

I am completely new to TW... manual Sucks (How hard would it be to put an oline manual up), anyway...

I am loving the game. It si pretty tough and is certainly a challenge.

    MY QUESTION

What is the best way to build up a created golfer?
Do you just play the tour challenge? or can you play other modes to gain attribute points.

I created a golfer...did a few tour challeneges, added some attributes until I had non left. then played some more and see the little icons appear that apparently give me ponts to spend.

    thanks

BTW 1. Game is MUCH MUCH deeper than I thought.
    2. Game is a blast!

The Tour Challenges are the fastest way to get attribute points. Unfortunately, as you progress they become insanely difficult, even on Standard difficulty. However, there's no penalty for putting it on All-Play temporarily to beat the challenges. As you beat them, you will eventually hit Milestone levels that will give you TONS of attribute points.

You get attribute points just by doing things while playing normal rounds in career mode, but only very little at a time and as your golfer progresses you'll need more and more of them to upgrade each category.
