Tiger 10 Patch (Friday for PS3 / Monday for 360)

I like the sweetspot fix for tourneys, but this patch definitely does not excite me otherwise.

Yeah I like it too. What I like the best is the soak factor for the greens is going to be fixed.

I'd also like to see them fix the incredibly unrealistic scores by the CPU, especially if you're having a good round yourself. They will match you and surpass you birdie for birdie...and always gives you the message immediately after you make that amazing shot 2 inch's from the pin.

Agreed...but the CPU tallies these scores even when you don't participate in the event. For example, I skipped the San Diego Tournament in my season. Tiger won the event. His score?

-42.

This also shows that Tiger's abilities in Season mode need to be toned down. Yeah, he's the best golfer around, but in my season, he's won something like 9 of 15 events (he hasn't played in every one, either). He's 4,000+ points ahead in the FedEx Cup standings with only 2 events before the "playoffs" start.

This alone is why I'm still considering trading it in while its still worth something. I like the gameplay this year, but not having an actual chance to win without boosting to rediculous levels is a huge turn off.

Not sure. This would be up to Sony to release as everything should be done on EA's end. I'm guessing that it will be Monday with the 360 patch.

Nothing other than Sony is usually late getting DLC uploaded for PS3 users.....another reason I prefer XBox Live over PSN even though I have to pay for Live. Worth every penny IMO....

I've had both services and can honestly say that FREE is still better, even though there are occasional delays with some content.

Now where is that p atch....

PS3 patch 1.01 is now live. 360 patch will be about 3AM central time tonight.
