TW 09 Vz TW 10

Well, it appears football wont do it for me again this year. Ive decided to make the jump over to Golf. Mind you I haven't played Tiger Woods since 1999. So Im asking for a little assistance hoping somebody can help. Game will be used on the Xbox 360. I know this has been discussed, but this is geared toward almost exclusively online play.

The main reason I will be buying and playing is online with a friend. Naturally we downloaded both demos and found very little difference between the 09 and 10.

So with that said, what would you guys think would be my best bet. Buy 2009 and use it as a tune up to buy 2011? Or do the improvements in 2010 make it a must buy over 2009?

Does the "follow the tournaments live" play along with the pros thing exist in 09, does the online feature still work in 09? Not that I foresee using it, I guess Id just like the option if I wanted too.

The new putting system in TW 10 is a must-have if you're a sim cyber golfer. TW 09 has the old system that is braindead-arcade to put it bluntly. If you can put up with the unholy CPU scoring in Career mode, TW 10 is the way to go.

As for football: NFL 2K5 all the way my friend.

Well like I said, this is almost guaranteed to be 90% casual online play.

So for just the difficulty change with the putting TW 10 is worth it?

Does 2009 have the ability to follow real life play, if so is that feature still active?

Enough events left in 2010 to bother even messing with it?

Yea, I hear ya on 2k5. I just wish you could use custom rosters in online play. Then again, they didnt have any idea what was about to happen.
