Tiger's definitely superman-like on this game. No matter how far back he is in the final rounds, particularly the majors, he'll come back. I was leading at Oakmont by 3 over him and by the time I'd parred the 1st 3 holes he'd came back and tied for the lead. We know Tiger is great, but damn at least make it fair.

Thankfully I held on and won by a stroke, but the point still remains - Tiger's superman on this game. I guess you get what you pay for when it's his game, huh?

It continually perplexes me how the easiest part to program for TW continually gets ****ed up. I mean how many years has it been where they can't figure it out? 1st the rubberband AI and now ridiculous scores for leaders.

Hey EA if you're listening, the average winner on the PGA tour is between -8 to -15. If you're too lazy to factor in weather and course toughness then just go by that range and adjust accordingly. We'll take that for now. If you still want kids to shoot -40 and you feel cartoon scores are the only way to compete then give us a damn slider for scoring. That would take one day to program. The funny part is when I had TW 07 for the PC they programmed the AI scoring perfectly like I described above.

But you know what, hardly anybody complains about this on EA's forums so I guess the median age for this game is 12 and EA is just giving them what they want and I seriously doubt this has been fixed this year. They always say it is but it never is. It took them 5 years to fix the rubberbanding. But you would think one programmer in EA's office would say "hey dude WTF, why are all the winners shooting -35? Don't you think that's pretty stupid? Maybe we should change that." It just confirms that the developers don't even watch golf.

his worst round was a 65... I wonder how many sub 65 rounds Tiger posts in a year on average cause 3 below 65 and 1 at 65 is an unbelievable month, let alone a tourney... This is the single biggest reason for me stopping playing this game... It starts to pour down rain with 20mph wind in a round and tiger shoots -7 in a 9 hole stretch while I'm struggling to maintain par. Totally unforgivable programming.

The AI on this game is bogus, plain and simple. I just played the Tournament Challenge vs Gulbis at Turnberry. She shoots a -7 on the back 9 as if it's nothing - multiple chip ins, practically no mistakes, literally no bogies. The way this game makes the CPU unbeatable still sickens me.

It reminds me of playing Hot Shots Golf a few years back. You expect that sort of thing on an arcade game like that. But not on a supposed sim like TW. Hell even HSG and Mario Golf got sim scoring down ok. TW still can't. Hopefully TW 11 fixes that instead of focusing on new fancy features.
