    College kid loses on Purpose

Yeah my alma mater is being talked about nationally, a rarity.(at least about there sports team)

University of St. Francis (Ill.) golfer Grant Whybark has become a national name in light of his decision to intentionally lose a playoff for his conference tournament's individual title and allow an opponent to advance to the national finals.
    Thoughts?

    Right or Wrong?
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

I read this on Yahoo! sports, the writer made this guy out to be a saint. Imo, he was absolutely wrong. Its not like his opponent beat and this guy got lucky and let him rightfully win, he won and basically felt bad for this guy and threw the match. This is absolutely against the culture of sports, may the best team(or person) win...

I think it undermines the integrity of the game of golf, and sport in general. There's no way I could live with myself had I been the one intentionally losing the match, or being served a "win".

If one of my friends did that, I would hit my ball right next to his. Or at him. I get pissed even hearing this story.
