So where is this online pass thing (PS3)

I can access games, etc online without putting in the code. Also, I don't have an option on the main menu to even put a code in. What gives?

EA's website says its on the main menu under play now, but it isn't on the PS3 and I haven't put anything in. I can go online and enter tourneys and into matchmaking and everything. Strange!!!

I did not have to put in a code either and had access to all the online features. Yesterday when the PS3 was down for maintenance under play now it said enable online pass. So today when I put the game in I thought I would have to use the code but the online was already available. I think their is a free online trial so maybe when that expires then we will have to use the online code.

I wonder if anyone has had to enter the code yet?

The ticker messages no longer tell me to keep my manual, and there is no updates in the news section either. Hopefully they'll update us before the weekend starts.

Just found out that entering the code on your account settings under reedem code activates it.

And where is that exactly? Also, considering we can play online WITHOUT entering the code, why bother, at this point, to do it?

The Online Pass is NOT turned on yet for PS3. The Playstation store keeps going down, so Online Play is open for eveyone right now. When the Playstation store is working properly, then the Online Pass will be turned back on. Then when you select Online, the Online Pass screen will appear.

I was really wanting the advanced driver that you get with the code and did receive it upon entering it under account settings than choosing the redeem code option...106 kb. I do recall ...it works so not sure what's up with EA.

When I got game I didnt need code but today it asked for code.
