Re: Driving Question?
My bad. Its supposed to say 100% . In other words, I aim for the fairway (say about 250 yds), but when I swing at 100% it ends up in the rough like 60 yards short of my aiming spot...So my question is two-fold 1. Why is it short and 2. is the aim for where it lands on contact or after it is done rolling ...Hopefully this is clearer...Thanks againLast edited by jmurphy31; 06-13-2010, 04:56 PM.Comment

Re: Driving Question?
Are you using a created player? Maybe your power XP's is low. I'm having a problem seeing how far my drives go after the shot. On the screen afterwards, it just says how much distance there is left to the pin. Did they take that out of the presentation this year? Help..Comment

Re: Driving Question?
The aiming spot is for where it will stop rolling.
My guess is that you are failing to take into account the slope. If you are hitting to a spot that is higher from where you are, you will lose distance. You may also be hitting it 100%, but not solid.
Also, if it is wet, the ball will not roll as far.Last edited by JayhawkerStL; 06-13-2010, 07:05 PM.Comment

Re: Driving Question?
Yup, the aiming circle is where the ball will stop rolling assuming it landed on the fairway first. If you go into the club tuner you can see exactly how far the ball is carrying and rolling depending on how you tweak your swing and clubs. My golfer is powered up a bit and drives the ball 300 yards, 280 of which is carry. I've seen some people online who use higher lofted drivers and basically fly the ball the whole way and have very little roll.
Here's a question regarding the swing tuner: what exactly does driver spin do for my drives? I've maxed it out and zeroed it out and I'm not really seeing a difference. What am I missing?Comment

Re: Driving Question?
Important question - are you using True Aim? If you are, and you're moving the GPS view around to try and aim, that doesn't actually move your aim at all. You have to aim left or right from the unzoomed golfer's view. It's not bugged either - it's very deliberate and a great way to make you line up your shot without getting the benefit of the zoom.Comment
