You might want to visit the EA Tiger forums before you make such ridiculous comments. While I agree with your criticism of DLC pricing, this particular course is getting rave reviews and some have commented it is so well done it is worth $10.....THEIR words, not mine.

I went there and seems to echo what is being said here, people thinking that 10 bucks is too high, except for a select few who would buy at any price. Bad marketing by EA, sure the TurboTony's of the world will buy it (dude has a picture of himeself holding a trophy he won in some Tiger Woods Tourny, hilarious) But there is no way a moderate or casual gamer will run out and pay those prices. EA just would rather milk the select few that would mortgage moms house to get DLC. I would think selling 100 at 5 bucks is better than 10 at 10 bucks.

You can play this course online in every other online mode that is not P2P as well.

These courses are not going to be $2.99 ever. Links 2004 for XBox was $5.00 for non-licensed courses 6 years ago.

And pleas stop with the accusation that they could have fit them all on the disc....not the 360 disc for sure, the PS3 they could have, but EA is not going to give the PS3 version the advantage over the 360 version. I agree with everyone that the pricing is bad and that it is a shame they can't be used in offline career mode, but lets not flail away with wild accusations without having some facts first.

People need to relax. I'm not happy about the price, so I probably won't be buying them. DLC doesn't change the price of the game. The game cost $60 US no matter if there's no DLC or million dollar DLC.

There's lots of courses included, and the great thing is they are all unlocked. No more spending money to unlock courses already included in the original game.

EA is trying like mad to be the boss and dictate the price for these things, but I guarantee you they will lose that battle. The majority of people will simply not spend $10 on one extra course--the competition for DLC is way too high for that.

If they would have priced these things 3 for 10, or 4 bucks a pop or something, they'd be selling like crazy. Right now, they're just gonna be a waste of developer's hours for all intents and purposes. Not only are they not gonna reach their maximum potential in profits, they are not gonna be enjoyed by the majority of people who would truly appreciate them. All for the stupidity of a high price tag. Such is greed, I guess.

$10 per course is outrageous, period. Most of these are courses they have rehashed from years past anyways. $2.99 would be more reasonable and put them in line with most other DLC, but $10 per course, per year is robbery/greed from EA.

DUDE, I am NOT objecting to your criticisms, but your facts are simply wrong. In case you have not noticed, I AGREE that $10/course is way too much....and NO I do NOT work for EA....is that your standard line when someone with some facts and history of video golf games disagrees with you?

That's where I struggle.....

If EA would have created a way to use these DLC courses in the Tour/Career mode, I would probably buy 4 or 5 of them. I just can't justify the cost for the limited usage they will get!
