What the ^%$# Just Happened?!
Just to paint the picture - before this happened, I was a Level 5 Golfer, having ammassed about 34,000 XP. I also had about 1200 XP in the bank waiting to be used. My power was rated 90, and everything else was rated upper 70s or low 80s.
OK, here's what happened...
I'd just finished trying to win a Long Drive GamerNet Challenge. Had been using True Aim, but realized that in order to win the challenge I would, due to my lack of skills on True Aim, would need to switch to the classic method of playing. Did that. While I was out there, I went in to make add some skill points to my power boost. Made the changes, and was prompted to overwrite my golfer, which I did.
Suddenly, I was gone. All my skill points were gone. I was level 0 at everything. So I then exited out of TW, rebooted and the loaded my golfer, only now it was 'Player 1' instead of the name I used when I play offline tour.
Upon loading this new Player 1, I had no XP ammassed or in the bank, and I was back to a Level 0 golfer. However, my ratings were all in the 90s. Ranging from 96 (power) to 90 (putting).
Furthermore, when I went to update this Player 1 and used the game face I'd uploaded to EA Sports, I now am left with a faceless, bodyless mass of clothes. Essentially, I am one hell of a golfer without a body.
I'll try and some pictures to share, but has anyone had this happen to them??
