Do you guys have notes written down for each course?

Im just curious if anyone else does this....

I play on the 360, TourPro, Tru-aim ON etc etc. And it is tough!

I can usually win a few tourny's in a season with my CAG who I've built up pretty well, but it requires notes... IE:

Hole 1. T-off with 3W, aim for right of fairway. Green fast, slopes towards you.

Hole 2. T-off with DR, draw 100% around bushes into dogleg. Green fast, sloped to bunkers on right.

Hole 3. T-off this par3 with 4I if wind is towards you, with 5I if at your back or side to side. Green fast, rolls sharply towards you.

    etc etc....

When I do this I get WAY better results.

I have notes written down for every course now.

Does anyone else do the same?

I try to figure out or remember where the straightest uphill putts for the expert/hard pins on the greens. On some shots being more than pin high leaves big breaking putts while hitting it 10-20 feet short is the better play, vice versa.

I play Tour Pro expert on Wii and usually playing online with the maxed out guy hitting it 340-350 hitting it to the proper side of the fairway for the best angle is largely irrelevant.

For hole strategies on default hard conditions with gusty wind can make holes play 20-25 yards difference either into or against, so one day it could be a 60 yard pitch and the other 110 wedge, so the holes play different frequently. I also have a lower skilled guy that hits it 290 for career mode, which plays better for the course lengths and where the hazards are, proximity to hole etc...

I do write down the par score for the course and the score I make on a weekly basis to see how much I've improved or how consistently I've been able to maintain the scores I've been making over a period of time.

That's the one thing I wish I had notes on. I'm ok with the holes themselves usually, but on some greens there's many spots where you don't want to be. With the toughest pin positions on fast greens, you don't want to end up in "jail" where you are going to 3 putt.

LOL, I seem destined to do this each round at Boston, too.

I don't make notes except for great or horrid hole outs on our OS tourneys.

Yeah I know just what hole you're talking about. Honestly I avoid that course, and I don't think I've played TPC Boston at all in TW11 yet.
