TW 11 question - why buy a new putter?

Seeing you can't tune it like other clubs, why buy one? Does it help your putting at all? Nothing says it gives any boosts...

I haven't noticed anything other than cosmetic differences....actually, I like that you can just pick a putter because you like how it looks or it closely matches what you use in real life.

Agreed, except I'm still just L4 and using my XP for more important things like upgrading my stats. I did buy new irons and tuned the crap out of them. No more new clubs till I max out my XP and buy better modifiers (hats, shafts, etc.).

on the Wii it makes a difference since you line up the face of the club to the ball like in real golf. I switched from a anser style to a mallet and had some outstanding rounds probably simply because i aligned the face squarer consistently with the right pace (%).
