I think I read in one of the EA press releases that it was still in but don't quote me until I can find it.

Well we all know that one thing EA is notorious for it's adding a feature but dropping a feature that everyone likes to "fit it in".

The Ryder Cup has 84 years of history and few changes have been made to improve the competition. The FedEx has only 4 years of history and has had to change it's format 4 times (it needs to change at least one more time).

Are you just going into random threads and posting your thoughts on the FedEx cup? this is the 2nd one i've seen, and neither have been relevant to the thread topic.

Anyway, really hope Ryder Cup is still in, along with more pros to fill it out.

I've read that the President's Cup will be in this year's game. Whether that means it's bumping the Ryder Cup or not, I don't know. Maybe they'll alternate between Ryder Cup and President's Cup henceforth, since each is a biennial competition?

Ryder Cup is out of TW12 as it is not taking place for almost 2 more years. The President's Cup IS in because it is taking place in 2011. Ryder Cup will very likely return for TW13 as it will take place during that game's life.

If they drop Ryder Cup in TW12 because the Ryder Cup will NOT be held in 2011 and add the President's Cup for TW12 because it WILL be held this year, how does that fit your accusation? It doesn't.....

That's all fine if we only played one season but, the Ryder Cup should be there so you can play it every other year. EA tries to make NCAA and Madden mimic the real life counterparts as much as possible, it be nice if they did that with TW as well (hint, alternating Presidents and Ryder Cups... even bigger hint, SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFFS for tied tournaments). To be honest, if we had to choose, since Ryder Cup was there last year, I'd rather they leave that instead of adding the Presidents Cup, since the Ryder Cup is the bigger event of the 2 (and better IMO).
