Glad this is open again...only thread on the internet in which two people who actually have the game are giving their reports on it. Sooner, can you speak to any of the questions I raised? Divot, what were your attributes when you played the skins match with the Move for the first time in Career mode?

This is disappointing to read, but I'd like to ask a few clarifying questions:

Are you playing the XBox 360 version?
Were you playing as Tiger or a created golfer?
Did you have the wind at breezy, or higher?
What pin settings were you using?
How fast were the greens?
Did you find it too easy to hit fairways and greens, even in Tournament difficulty?

If you would be so kind as to check out the "Live Tournaments" feature, and see what's new there, it would be much appreciated. I'm curious to see if they're trying to use "Leader Ball Arcs" again this year, or if they've given us some other option(s) to "liven" it up a bit.

Yes I have 360.
I played as Tiger.
I really just hoped on and played and was pissed that all that caddy crap was on and circles on the green so I just turned it off disgusted.

I'll give it another try tonight and see how it is. I just don't like all the new crap on the screen. It just seems to easy to hit fairways but I only played about 9 holes. I like playing the hardest difficulty but to me it seemed like whats the point when I'll I'm doing is running around hitting percentages that my caddy tells me.

Not sure what you are doing that it is so easy to hit fairways as that is not what I am seeing and yes, I am playing in Tournament difficulty, the most challenging difficulty. Ignore the on-screen caddy advice by disabling the caddy by pressing the appropriate button and turn his voice volume down all the way and you won't hear his commentary. AFAIC, this is not the same old Tiger Woods Golf....

Im really on the fence about trying get this on Tuesday. Haven't played a golf game since Tiger 10 (wasnt impressed) and haven't bought one since Links 2004. The 360 demo didn't really help me one way or the other..thanks for the impressions so far..

I dont beleive you. If you have a 360 gamer tag then post it so you can prove you have the game, or post some sort of proof. Not saying you dont have it, but its tough to beleive the whole "I turned it off after 9 holes" comment.

I can believe the whole "turned it off after nine holes" thing, because I only lasted two holes with the demo before deleting it. I did re-install it and gave it antoher try, but I really did not like the the game. I considered TW 11 the best golf game I ever played.

Nobody other than those who have shown proof that they own the game should post impressions. Likewise, I'd take those people's opinions with a grain of salt if they haven't shown it. I'll be picking up my copy in 30-45 minutes hopefully. I haven't played a Tiger game in 3-4 years probably. I don't have the Move yet, so if I post impressions, it'll be with Controller only.

I've got to run out and buy another controller. My daughter must have taken mine out of my bag before I left. Granted, I'm not sure how much my impressions will help as I'm not a golfer or a golf game player. Just wanted to try something different.
