Im really enjoying it so far, but does anyone know if it lasts longer than 5 years on TW 12?

I assume it's longer than 5 years, since one of the achievements is to win 7 Green Jackets.

And I have a quick career mode question too.

I have seen conflicting reports that skipping DLC course events in the PGA Tour section of the mode negatively impacts your world ranking, yet the EA folks say it doesn't affect it.

I am on the Nationwide Tour, so I don't know, but to anyone on the PGA Tour - Does skipping DLC events negatively impact your world ranking?

EDIT - EA folks say there IS a small negative impact if you skip the DLC events. Poor form, IMO.

I'm thinking about picking this game up for the 360 but I have a few questions. I'm a realism nut, so how "real" does the career feel? Are scores about realistic, and if you just make the cut will you go out early on Saturday/Sunday and if you're leading will you go out late on Saturday/Sunday? Can you view the entire leaderboard during tournaments? Basically I'm just wondering if it feels like you're playing a real career.

Again, I'm thinking about getting this for the 360. I had the Wii version last year and it failed in all of the questions I asked above. Regarding the leaderboard you could only see what place you're in and you could see the first 6 or 7 guys in the tournament...but that was it. I remember reading the board last year and seeing that the 360 and PS3 versions didn't have these issues and I'm wondering if that's still the case.

Career is done well and it feels pretty real. There are 4 or 5 different AI scoring settings, you will find one that suits you. If you a leading you tee off last, if you are behind you tee off accordingly. Pretty sure you can see the leader board, it shows your position after every hole and willupdate you when someone new ties or takes the lead.

One thing that is totally not real is the lack of a playoff if the scores are tied, you will automatically get the win. I am still amazed how this is not in the game, pretty sad really.
