Set your power at about 80 or 90 (or wherever you get an average drive of about 290-300yds) and about the same for putting. Add some attributes for fades and draws and accuracy to about 50 or so (even less if you're good on the LS) and you should be hitting realistic rounds with a good chance of hitting over 80 once in awhile.

First thing I did was change the AI scoring to Very low and the difficulty all the way up......very quickly I changed the AI to Low and wnt back a notch on difficulty. This game has come a long way since Tiger 08!

I love the sim aspect of this game and the new tournament difficulty. Yes, you have to use your caddie to shoot low, but you still have to make the correct swing percentage and execute the shot. I haven't seen a score in the 50s yet on tournament difficulty. My lowest scores (on tournament difficulty) have been -11 (my first round in the first online weekly tourney for 360) and -10 (daily tourney, and currently in 1st haha), but I really don't see myself going any lower.

The putting on this difficulty is extremely realistic and takes a while to get used too. Playing Augusta in tournament condition on tournament difficulty is probably the toughest test in the game (as it should be). I had a few four-putts on my way to shooting in the low 80s.

Thats basically the game golfing for you. You have to play on Tournament difficulty.

My best is a +4 at Scottsdale, but my average is a 82 over 3 rounds.

I play strictly Tournament difficulty and rarley shoot under par even with Tiger.I am loving this game and very happy they have it more realistic..There is only one thing I ask or wish for in tourney level is the ability to over swing with the punishement greater on a mis hit in case of an over swinging...Also I would like it on tourney level to have no swing meter at all and the ability to once you start your swing you cant stop it..Everything else in this game is great coming from this old links 2003 player..thanx ea

I don't see ever shooting in the 50's as long as I continue to play on Tournament difficulty, lol. My best round so far was +1 at BANFF!!!

My average so far per round is 79.8 last I checked...putts is 2.0 or 2.1.

I'm trying to dump my points mostly into putting at the moment, since that is the single most difficult aspect of the game to me. Also pretty tough to put a drive where I want it compared to last year, but nothing feels unrealistic to me. High-risk shots are exactly that.

I only found out yesterday how to change shot type! LOL. (360, use X button on custom shot screen). Helps when you peruse the in-game manual, yeah....

Tournament Difficulty: I'm getting a lot better at putting. I actually made 4 or 5 birdies in my last Nationwide tour event. I still shot +8 and finished about 17th. I did win my second Am Tour event, as I tied for the lead at +9.

I am really liking this game. The putting is really difficult, but definitely not impossible. 10 footers feel very makeable now, but anything longer than that is difficult. That is how it should be. No PGA tour players roll in 20+ footers on a regular basis. Those are difficult shots to make.

My thoughts exactly. The putting takes concentration and practice, but its not impossible. I hit a 31ft once but I miss a lot of 4fts cause i read the green wrong or just whip it 10 feet past the hole. Its a lot like real putting.
