My apologies if my thread title was either a little "too much" or just misleading, but the lack of equipment updates in TW12 really let me down this year.

I mean, I could be wrong w/ this one, but I couldn't find even one club update or change in TW12, other than having some clubs not even in the game any longer.

It's just really disappointing when you look forward to, at least in my opinion, a fairly large aspect of the game, and pretty much have the exact same options available to you as last year's game.

It mind boggles me how it's 2011 and golf games don't present the little things. Were are the cart bags on the tee box with golfers names on them, or multiple player and caddies all bunched up on the tee box while teeing off.

What about custom gear creator and rain suits, umbrellas....it just creates realism.

Some of these may see over the top, but things I would eventually like to see.

it probably has something to do with the fact that most of the new equipment comes out early in the year Jan - Mar well into the development cycle of the new game.

However the bigger letdown definitely is the lack of equipment selection. There are very few equipment companies in the game. They couldn't get licensed equipment from other companies? Where is Titilest (not sure if this has anything to do with Tiger ditching Titilest) also is Cobra missing? or did I just overlook it?

Another thing if equipment is on a professional golfer it boggles my mind why it wouldn't be available for a player to use in game ex. any of Rickie Fowler's Puma equipment

It is the driver in my real life bag so that is the only reason I noticed. Haven't seen a sponsors challenge to unlock them yet.
