Thanks for taking the lead on this goalie...I'm out of town until Thursday. I'm thinking if we do go to making our own tournaments we should use Tournament difficulty with uncapped golfers....the best in the world can only shoot -11 in this mode so it should make for some good scoring and shooting under par is saying something.

I'm in Goalie. PS3. I'd only want to play Tour Pro. I tried Tournament and found it to be very frustrating.

i gotta see what playthepros offers - i think it (difficulty) may be tour pro, and not tournament... i'll check tonight.

i agree with uncapped - that way you can use the tourney to help add some points to your golfer, as an added bonus!

The most difficult part of tournament mode is the putting IMO. It's all based on feel rather than the meter. I've 4 putt some greens because of it...from the tee to the green is pretty good as far as how it works. I missed out on True Aim which was supposed to be a step forward but I think "Tournament" mode has potential for a league.

I think Play the Pros only offers a Tour Pro option if I'm not mistaken...The good news is that I think it only allows one submission now and we could add each other as friends to have our own leaderboards.

I'd be down on 360. I've tried tournament as well and found the putting extremely frustrating, though enjoyed the other aspects. In my road to the masters, I had a 6 stroke lead in my first pga event, so that's why I started trying tournament.

play the pros IS tour pro difficulty, NOT tournament...

so, if we use playthepros, that's what we're stuck with...

personally, i've only played "tournament' -

What do you guys think of kicking this league off with team event? Get some idea of how everyone plays. I have never tried it so dont know exactly how it works but who ever want to give it a try I am on PS3.
