Career Mode close to Greatness

Im really enjoying this years career mode, but obviously there are a few things where it can improve. First of all I love that you can choose the AI scoring. I set it to normal to keep it realistic and to make sure I dont dominate I dont improve any of my attributes above 50%, other than power. As a result I have missed the cut 3 times, made the cut 6 times, finishing in the top 10 once(finished 2nd) and with most of my tournaments I finished being around 30th. I think this keeps it realistic.

Could Improve:

- The amatuer tour and nationwide tour, maybe make them longer and include rankings.
- Q school should be 5 rounds(I believe thats the real amount)
- Need more stats. Include course specific stats. Biggest thing though is PGA tour rankings in specific catergories like Driving distance ect. Maybe historic stats like most majors won ect.
- Include some other kinds of tournaments like world match play and include the presidents cup in career mode where you have to get selected to play in it.
- Include money leaders
- Longer amount of years than whatever it is(i think 10) and have players retire and have new players join the tour with player progression.
- The biggest JOKE, being that there is NO PLAYOFF when tied at the end of a tournament... somehow please include this
- Different tee times in the first round, rather than being paired with Tiger EVERY single tournament in the first round and always teeing off last

All in all Im still really enjoying career mode and I think its very close to being a great, realistic game mode.

I agree with each point you made here. The career mode is fun and I like the idea of making you qualify for The Masters and other majors - as well as the world rankings. Makes you feel like you're actually always working for something.

I would also add a couple things to the "Could Improve" list:

- The DLC implementation, while welcome, needs a bit of refinement. DLC events shouldn't have any negative impact on the world rankings, but should give bonuses to those who wish to buy DLC.
- Along with that, there should be some way to customize season schedules - especially with DLC. That way, you aren't forced to play several courses multiple times during a season, or you can try to adjust the schedule to match how the real-life season is set up.
- Having the ability to differentiate the number of rounds in regular tournaments vs. majors. I'd like to play 2 rounds in all the regular tournaments and 4 in each major.
