Has Microsoft abandoned the PC version of Links?

I spent some time over at Links Corner and going through the forums it appears there will be no Links 2004 for the PC. People are saying it is possible but nothing confirmed that 2005 will be on both Xbox and PC. As much as I love to see Links on the Xbox I hate to see the PC's limited to only Tiger Woods. While TW is a superb game I like to see everyone have a little competition.

I guess the problem is if they move the PC version to full 3D will that make all the current static courses useless for a 2005 version? Or are they taking the extra time to find a way to get all the Links made course transfered to full 3D?

    Just yammering, don't mind me...

I hope it's the latter BD.

To set itself apart Links needs to take it's great library of courses and great a true 52 week season. Sell the game for 49.99 and include a season of courses.

A good career mode where you assume the role of your favorite PGA Tour Player or start off on the mini-tour and work up. I know EA Sports is claiming to have something like this but they also said that last year when it turned out it wasn't a season mode but rather a calander with mini-games and tournaments.

Anyway Links needs to set itself a part rather than being than claiming to have the most realistic physics. And MS needs to realize online paly for this game isn't it. Links has been online for many years.
