Oh brother can you. You can put that concern to rest as you can make it VERY hard.

great...I've also got to hit the driving range to get my club distances down. I'm liking the PC version as a change of pace from the console one, though the console one would be a lot better if I were playing with a bunch of friends here.

Re: TWG 2004 for ps2 or pc?

I haven't really tapped into the PC version yet as I had played the heck out of 2003 on the PC. I know 2004 is improved and I'm looking forward to getting into some sim golf, but right now I'm actually having much more fun with the PS2 version that I though would be possible.

I'm loving it so far actually. All the things to unlock and purchase from the Pro Shop is kickin'. I love the Clock Synch feature where you unlock stuff by playing in events on certain dates on the calander IRL.

While the PS2 version is an arcade golf game, it is in fact very fun. Personally I'm glad the PC and Console versions are so different. They are both very good on opposite sides of the spectrum.

      Works for me

I created a golfer in career mode, and it's a lot tougher...I think if you just pick up and go they give you a pretty skilled golfer, so now I gotta work on my game, just like in real life

I did the exact same thing with the PS2 version. I created a golfer for the PGA Tour mode and played my first tournament. On par 73 Kapalua I had rounds of 81, 71, 69, and 75. I'm no newbie to the Tiger series either, my best round on the 2003 Tiger was a 51. Starting off with a golfer who needs a lot of work to get better makes it alot tougher. But it's a challenge and I like that.

I went and bought the console version as well.
The two games are so different it is like having to great games come out the same day.
The career mode on pc is great, having to take lessons to get different shots is awesome. The graphics are unbelievable if you have a new video card. I have a radeon 9700 and it looks spectacular. There is so much difference than my earlier post when I was using a TNT 2 ultra, it will be really hard to play at work now. hahah

I did notice that my created player hits pretty straight, it is hard to hook or slice. I then went to a pro player and increased the difficulty level and had a tough time to keep the ball on the fairway. I think as you build your player the harder it gets which is great.
