    Re: What are side games?

side games are fun in real golf outings. My fraternity alumni do a yearly golf outing, and we have a couple longest drives and closest to the pin holes. Fun to see who can drive or aim when the pressure's on.

Oh, okay. So it's something that just happens randomly for a specific hole and isn't ongoing. That's kinda cool. Thanks for the clarification.

Sorry about that I was not specific enough on when they happened and Foseen is correct.

No worries. Thanks to you both for helping out with the info.

I'm looking forward to getting home and playing some more of this game. I decided to give it a rent after reading some of the comments and I'm really enjoying the game. I was up until 2:30 this morning because I couldn't put it down. It's definitely one of those "just one more…" games. When the rental is up I'm going to have to buy it. I was going to wait until Links in November, but I'll buy TW 2004 to hold me over until then. I think each game will offer something a little different, so owning both will be okay.
