Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?
I'm thinking about buying the PC version this year instead of the XBOX. Does anyone know if its more realistic on the PC than Console versions? The console versions are just to easy. Also when you are on the PGA Tour are you ranked on how your doing like in real life in each tournament?Tags: None -
Re: Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?
The PC version is WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY more realistic than the console version. This years PC version is absolutely AMAZING. The PC version is NOTHING like the Console version gameplay-wise.
You can play on a PGA Tour season in the PC version, but I'm not sure what stats/rankings you see.
You can also play online, which is a total blast. Offline career mode seems pretty deep too, but I've been so busy online I have not dug into it.
If you want a more realistic experience, switch to the PC. You will NOT regret it. -

Re: Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?
So its actually a challenge on the PC version? I mean on the console i would be like 30 under par easy and none one come come close to me so i would win easy everytime. What i mean by rankings is when your in a tournament will it list the top 20 or so players for the initial year or how far along you are in your career? Say you been in 10 tournaments, do you know if it shows the top 20 palyers so far for the year?Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?
if you play on the tougher settings with PC you'll get a more realistic game. You've gotta swing carefully or you'll draw or fade when you don't intend to, and if you're playing a tough course that can be killer to land in the rough. It's a lot more sim than the consoles, just because the mouse is more sensitive than the analog stick, IMONintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 2004 PC Question?
it is definitely a challenge in the PC version. Shooting in the 50s, (unless you are at FRONT tees, no wind, easy pins) is pretty much UNHEARD of. Rounds in the mid-60s are excellent rounds. Myself I average over par. dbdynsty has been shooting > 100 for 18 holes in some of our tournaments. (Sorry to use you as this particular example Scott)
Put the settings to Advanced or Expert, and then use Pro or Back tees, with some wind, and Dry or very dry greens... and watch out. You'll have trouble staying near par. Even the "moderate" pin placements seem a bit unfair on Bethpage Black.
