I already don't use the power boost, and rarely use the spin. Like I said before, I turned the caddy tips off, like it that way, except for the wind thing.

Gauging the wind
Does anyone know how to judge the wind if you turn the caddy tips off? I really like this game but it gets too easy, so I turned the caddy tips off, and now I don't know how to judge the wind. If anyone knows how, please let me know. Also, let me know what you are doing to make the game more of a challenge easy on in the season mode.

Caddy tips do not turn this off on the Xbox version (you did not specifiy which you had). Caddy tips are the ones that tell you how far to move the marker on the green. Changing the settings to Tour Play from EA play turns many things off if you did that. If you did make this change go down to the options and change (lie and wind marker) back on. I could live w/o the wind aid if they let you toss grass in the air. They do not have that option so I leave it on.

Re: Gauging the wind
You will sometimes get a "toss grass" animation in the pre-shot animations.
Also, I will just (if possible) check the flag, and listen for the wind.
That said, I eventually turned the wind gauge back on.5WG | Facebook | Twitter | fiftytwoplays
