Well PGA Champ and Tiger Woods are made by the same people.

TW is a much better game that PGA. PGA has had many years to get that many tournaments. The problem with TW is that every course from last year doesn't get upgraded. Meaning I don't think if you have a user course from 03 that it will work with 04. Again I haven't looked into course creation yet so maybe that will change.

I think Tiger is much more refined and improved than PGA. I never did care much for PGA and thought it was just too simple in it's view of golf. TW takes it's roots from PGA but has refined them to a very good medium.

wow, I did not know that. Makes a lot of sense though, because TW on the PC reminded me a lot of FPS Golf, just way refined. TW probably is a lot better than the old PGA, but that could be a good option for those who can't run TW too well, on an old pc

Okay, will do. I noticed there's a St Andrews course so I'll have to try that also. I really like the European-style courses for some reason. Hopefully there are some others in there besides St Andrews.

If I may ask, which part of PGA is too simple in it's view of golf, and how is TW so much better? You're usually fairly negative, so I'm just looking for some reasoning behind that opinion.

Well for one they had many more years to perfect the True Swing. In the PGA versions you had one swing to hit the ball on a normal golf shot. You could adjust your feet and make the ball go high or low but TW has many many options that reflect the game of golf.

And fot it's time when compared to Links which had a TrueSwing but it was in real-time the game didn't offer that level of custimazation compared to it's competitors.

And PGA had a few big problems that they never fully addressed. Long Iron play and Woods were too much of a hit and miss game. In TW I think it's failry easy to hit it down the fairway and keep it straight but hard to master. Getting 14 out of 18 greens and 10 out of 14 fairways is a very good day in TW. Putting in TW is much more difficult and maybe unfailrly so at times but overall TW is a much better game and there's no reason it shouldn't be. They've had a few years to work on it.

I have to say though, when you first hit that 50 foot putt for an Eagle, it's quite an accomplishment....
