wow, that's terrible if you can't just buy them regularly on PS3. I had just assumed that it would be the same as 360.

If you've already put the money in your PSN account, I'd maybe wait until Tuesday when the PSN store next updates to see if they add the course pack to the store properly.

It doesn't sound like they will be able to do that, according the EA Developer. You have to use in game currency to buy the courses and it will not be in the PSN store.

Totally ridiculous and a total rip-off.

The only hope is that they give us the ability to purchase the exact number of coins we need to buy the course pack.

This is what they should have done. I think the 11 course pack is 150,000 coins but there is no option to buy that. Its either way under or buy 175,000 coins.

The course converter also had to convert 2D courses, not 3D courses as the TW 360/PS3 courses are today, so you are comparing apples to oranges.

The reason all the courses came on the disk was because they offered 10-12 courses ONLY and those courses were about 1/4 the size of the average TW 360/PS3 courses which average 200+ MB. You also forget that Links and EA also used to offer course packs. Those course packs were $20+ and up for 3 courses and had nowhere near the amount of artwork and content that the TW 360/PS3 courses have today. I purchased the 11 course pack for $27 (EA Season Pass discount) as well as 2 other courses for a total of $35 for THIRTEEN top notch licensed courses. To get that many quality courses from Links PC, you would have had to pay almost $100 extra to do so. You can criticize EA for their model all day long, but present relevant facts next time. Your comparisons are flawed IMO.
I was being sarcastic about the fees paid for the courses.

I know it's not exactly the same as today.....I paid for the courses one time and I had license to play them on future editions. That was my point.

Thanks for setting me straight.....It's nice to get the EA stockholder's point of view.

          Thanks for sharing....lol
