Don't get me wrong I love playing the TW series but I will never understand why the don't have or follow the full PGA Tour schedule in the game? Somebody help me out so I understand this.

The Majors and Fed Ex cup are as close as they could possibly be ... The surrounding tournaments do a fair job but licensing is an issue with all the companies and sponsors... You do get the Players as well, so I think it mimics it just fine out side of the Chick Fil A - Mieneke - Geico Shootout.....Tiger 14 (Xbox 360)... Total Online Play Country Club... Not to mention that they'd need to add a bunch more courses, which makes for more files to download to our hard drives and take up more space. And that would probably also mean more DLC and it's clear a lot of people on the PS3 aren't happy about the DLC situation this year.Comment

I think they also want you to have the chance to go to the Masters multiple times (since an achievement is win 7 Masters) and I dont know about anyone else but just the 28 rounds of 7 Masters is close to a mmonth of play for me.
I think it is clear that some customization of the cm is desired but they gave us some of that this year with course swapping. I think some forum wishes get a little carried away. One guy at the EA forum is complaining there are TOO MANY dailies online tourneys because, " he has to play them all".

Saw that.... I just wanted to say "really??"... The point of having that many is to pick and choose a few you prefer.... There will be a few who will play them all... Not to mention the cost of licensing all of those courses and, at least on 360, disc size restrictions. As far as I know, an Xbox 360 game disc is about 8.5GB.
Downloads seem to be between 150 & 200MB for DLC courses. Take an average of 175MB times, say, 40 courses and you're giving up 7GB of the 8.5GB disc just for courses.
Right now at least, that's just not realistic.Comment

Right. It seems to me the best chance we had of being able to play a complete PGA Tour schedule on the actual courses was on the old Microsoft Links game that had a lot of add-on courses and the course creator that led to websites dedicated to uploading courses for others to download. I remember pulling at least 10-15 courses off the Internet that were created by others that were very good.Comment
