Number of rounds per tournament

So I played the Nationwide Tour on 4 rounds. After doing the training and sponsor plus 4 rounds, it felt really long. So after winning my 3 tourneys I made the PGA and switched it to 2 rounds. Now it feels too short! Lol anyone know if you can change the number of rounds or do you have to wait till the end of the season?

I believe you can change the number of rounds in the PGA Tour season settings at any time, as long as you are not currently in the middle of a tournament.

I think the settings are in the menu where you can see the schedule, your sponsor, etc. Just scroll down and the settings option is there.

Career settings... You can change the number of rounds from Tourney to Tourney... Make the lesser ones 1 to 2 rounds and the Big Ones and Majors 3 or 4 on a week to week basis... You can even change the AI scoring week to week..

I personally use the career to work on Mastery of courses... I will change courses on ones I can to master a certain course and play more rounds if I need them.... Helps CC Status, Mastery, Pins.. all of em.. I do like that this year...

Thank you both. Yea after I dropped it to two I realized the more the better really. Plus it's more authentic.

Thanks again. I'm at work and changed it last night and it's been bothering me , just haven't had a chance to look.

No problem. I am a big fan of the fact that they have allowed you to change the weather and number of rounds before each tourney instead of before each season.

I also am thrilled that they allow for customization of the PGA Tour schedule, so you can swap courses for most events and you're not stuck using the same courses at the same events year after year.

Yes that is nice having the availability to change that stuff at any time. I haven't messed with live weather yet, I'm curious to see how it works.

I used to do 4 rounds but I find 3 to be perfect. Opening round, then 2nd round is moving day and then the final round, not too short and not too long so it doesn't take too long to get through a calender year.

That's a good idea, I'm going to give it a shot. Started out in Dubai last night and I love the look of that course in real life, so 2 rounds ain't enough

Another benefit of it was in TW12 having 3 rounds would give an easy, medium and hard pin setup and this would allow you to bypass the expert pins which contained the majority of the carnival pins last year. So if there is some carnival pins left over this year you'll avoid most of them.
