    Rotating Majors?

One of the things about TW 13 that I was excited for was the ability to change courses in Career Mode events.

However, as mentioned elsewhere in these forums, It looks like only events that use DLC courses as default venues can have their courses changed. None of the majors can be changed in the first year of your career.

Since the Masters is unique in that it's the only major that is at the same venue every year, it always bugged me that the other majors also stayed at the same courses (in TW 12, the US Open was always at Pebble Beach, for example).

Has anyone gotten to the second year of their PGA Tour career and checked to see if the majors stay at the same places? Or can we at least change out the courses starting in year two?

    Re: Rotating Majors?

I have to assume the answer will be no, but I just got the game tonight. If anyone does know please tell.

Only time I ever was able to edit a season was the career editor from TW06 on the PC. Still could use it in 07 with some tweaks and then in 08 they made sure we couldn't.

Still being able to change some events will be cool, but won't be the same if you have to play the other 3 majors always at the same venue.
    The Golf Club created courses:

Ashford Pines Golf Club (front 9)

    Full version release June 2016

Challenging course without the cheap gimmicks.

The answer is supposed to yes but I haven't got into the 2nd season to confirm this. One of the devs said it does but then again they also said you could swap out courses for most of the tourneys (you can't) and said all of the carnival pins were fixed (they arent) so until someone plays a 2nd season and confirms it then take it as a big maybe for now.

Negative on changing the major venues.

I played as an AM in Master's and then didn't get into any of the Majors so I don't remember the first season other 3 Majors.

        2nd Season:
        US Open is at Valhalla
        British at Royal County Down
        PGA at Kiawah Island

It also sucks you can't change out any of the the first two Fed Ex Cup events to another course. I would like to rotate Bethpage and Liberty and also use another one for the 2nd event that was Deutsche Bank in Boston, that is now stuck on Torrey Pines.

The majors is actually somewhat good news!!!!!

In the first season, the US Open is at Crooked Stick and the British is at Royal Birkdale. So at least a couple of them did rotate.

            Re: Rotating Majors?

I can confirm...majors other than the Masters do rotate. In my first year, they looked like this:

            US Open: Crooked Stick
            British Open: Royal Birkdale
            EA Sports: Kiawah

In year two of my career, they look like this:

            US Open: Torrey Pines
            British Open: Celtic Manor
            EA Sports: Valhalla

British open would never be at celtic manor, its not a links course. You should use birkdale,st andrews or county down. They should have had lytham in this year & also left in turnberry, but then i am biased im a brit & link golf is my favourite

I thought the same thing when I saw Celtic Manor used, and unfortunately, you cannot switch out courses on your own for the majors.

But the good news is that you're not stuck playing the same four courses every year for all four majors.

This is excellent news. I can live with not choosing my majors. Playing the same ones every year would have made the career lack excitement.
