Career Bug?

Not a huge bug but it's a huge bug for me. My Created Golfer no matter what I do in career mode is always wearing the default clothing and uses none of the clothing I set for him. The default clothing is pretty ugly so I'm hoping somebody knows a work around.

I've noticed this but only when my created golfer plays Augusta. I would like to know how do I turn off as well

This was the same last year as well. At Augusta you wear a default "uniform"

It's not a bug play on any other course and your stuff will show up.

Yeah, that's not a bug. It even mentions it in the scrolling TIP text at the bottom of the screen.

When you play Augusta the game puts you in your sponsor's full kit if you are not already dressed in a full kit.

If you have unlocked sponsors other than EA (default), go into CAG and make sure to set it as your active sponsor. Even though you unlock the clothing/gear for the main sponsors through normal play you won't be kitted in their outfit at Augusta unless you make them your primary sponsor.

If your default CAG outfit is a full kit already, Country Club Kit, FedEx Champ etc, then you will be dressed in that at Augusta. You just cannot mix and match clothing at Augusta.

This indeed maybe a stipulation of the license. That they asked not to have shorts and cowboy hats on their 'elite' course. Funny thing is...my CAG is a lady

You would think some of the clothing would be flagged ok and if you had non-appropriate stuff it would just show you as the default.
