Collectors edition or regular

About to pick this game up today. Just wondering if there are any big bugs on the 360? Which edition is better? I dont want to drop $30 in DLC like other years. Also do you guys use the connect or just the controller?

PS3, standard. you can purchase everything with 'gameplay' earned coins.

If your patient.. you can save up in game coins earned each round... You can then purchase rounds on a DLC Course of your choosing... You will download the course, but only be able to play it with coin purchased rounds... Once you master it, it is yours for good...

16 in game courses are plenty to start with... I would however shell out the additional 10 bucks for the collectors Edition which gives you 5 more courses and the Augusta par 3... Well worth the 10 bucks...

Game has some typical EA quirks, but no big game killers. It is hands down the most addictive of the series to date and I am either playing or thinking about playing all day every day.....

Controller is my preferred... I found that the Kinect is fun for a group at home, but takes a long time to complete a round and I feel like im simply swinging my arms to swing with very little impact of how good the swing was...

You can do that in the 360 version as well, it's just handled differently.

As for the original question, I personally feel the CE is worth the extra money. You get six additional courses and the practice facility (which is good for learning the new swing mechanic) for only $10 more.

I bought the 360 CE and I'm glad I did, this is by far the best golf game I've played. The $10.00 for the CE was well worth the money.

If you can get it I would get the Collector's Edition. As everyone has said, it is worth the $10 extra.

Also right now Amazon has the Collector's Edition for $59.99.

You can pick up brand new copies on ebay for 49 bucks buy it now with free shipping or possibly even less if you go with an auction.

I paid 47 bucks for the collectors edition brand new this week for the PS3.

The collectors edition is the way to go for sure.

Ehh, last year I got hooked played a few rounds a day if not more. Hopefully get a good bit of time in with it, Nba2k12 has become boring in a sense. I need a good fix to hold me over til Ghost Recon and NCAA. Tiger is the choice I went with.

If you got hooked last year... and you can figure out the new swing... double it this year... it is much more addicting with the CC's.... Jaymee asks because we are trying to fill out our Country Club with people who will play. If you play 3-5 rounds or more a day... You will be a huge benefit to us... CC name is below and we are/were a Top 10 club... (We are #11 right now until I get home from work and play until 3 am ) Once you get it, message me if you want in and I will give you the PW....

Collectors is the way to go. You get more courses for 10 bucks. I'm not a collectors edition buyer, but because of how much online playing I do with TW, it was a no brainer. And if you're a season ticket holder, you'll get the additional DLC at a 20% discount... Which is nice. I don't have the patience or time to unlock everything like a previous poster said.
