The freezing at the loading screen really needs to get fixed asap...

I play on 360, not sure how much it's affecting everyone else. But over the last few days it's really out of control. I had to restart the game 4 times at the loading screen, ugh. Maybe it's just me, but it seems if you haven't played the game in a few days the worse it gets. Maybe something with the EA servers updating? When the game is loading, you should see three dots appear after the word loading and the game will load within a few seconds. If you only see one or two dots the game has frozen and must be restarted. Please fix this EA.

Mine does the same thing. I think it has to do with installing to the HD. Once I deleted it and played from the disc I stopped getting it.

i play on PS3 and i'm having the same issue. Pain in the butt. One time it even said I had a corrupt file and got an error message. Come on EA lets get this fixed.

How do you play off the disk? Someone said they didnt have any issue after that. Forget who it was. Thanks.

To play off the disc simply delete the TW13 Installed Xbox 360 Game File from storage memory. Gonna give it a try and see what happens. Thanks for the help fellas.

Let me know if this works so I can report this to the TW Devs because mine is installed as well and if it stops, I want to uninstall it as well.

Well....crap.

I've had the same issue (360, installed) at least three times (not consecutively). And 1 in-game freeze after 14 holes and a good score in a career tourney .

Has anyone had freezing during an actual round of golf? I haven't had any freezing issues on the loading screen, but I was just finishing up an incredible round at the Fed Ex Cup where I birdied the final 4 holes to win the tournament. However, it froze just as my final putt dropped. Pretty annoying to say the least. Has anyone else had any in game freezing like this as well?

Also, I'm on PS3 and I don't have my game installed on my hard drive.

Has anyone had freezing during an actual round of golf?

I've had it happen to me four times in Live Tournament rounds. The most recent was yesterday, when it froze in back-to-back attempts in my Country Club's Daily Tournament round. We have two tries enabled, just to account for freezes, but it wasn't enough for me yesterday. The second freeze occured while my approach shot was homing in on the pin on the 16th at Sawgrass, and I was tied for the lead.... discouraging to say the least

I have since the XBox 360 patch. The only way I can get the game to launch is to sign out of XBox Live *before* I launch Tiger 13. Then when the game prompts me to sign-in to XBox Live, I do so then with no problems. I freeze *everytime* I try to launch the game if I'm signed into XBox Live, requiring a cold reboot to reset my XBox.

Try my suggestion to mf756193 just above Dan, and see if it doesn't help you. It's been a life-saver for me!

In my first round on the game I holed in from off the green using a 7 iron. It was pretty cool until the game froze up on me. I hope it isn't like this all the way through.

Wow I must incredibly lucky so far. I've only had it freeze several times offline and it always happen at the teebox but when I go back in all the holes prior to my freeze is still saved so I don't lose the round. Never had a freeze online and the the few times it disconnected during a online tourney, I just connected again and never lost my round.

Have all you guys gone into Legacy mode at all since you bought the game. I haven't touched it and my disc has been pretty much perfect in terms of freezing. I still hold to the theory that just going into legacy mode, even once, sets off alot of the freezing problems.

There is some legitimacy to the Legacy issue... It was where my first freeze happened....

If the game continues to be unplayable with freezing then maybe a last ditch effort is to delete the game AND save file and then reinstall. I know people don't want to start over with thier CAG but you do have the 75K in XP that you could transfer over so at least your power will be built up with those points.

I guess you would lose all your coins and DLC and pins you bought with coins (or would you? I'm not sure) but hey what do you have to lose if the game is already unplayable. We're not getting a patch as the devs are in hibernation until TW14.

And word of advice, anytime EA introduces any goofy mode to appeal to 3 year olds, don't even open it. Even a few seconds in this mode is wasting your time and it's gonna suck anyways and apparently this year it's booby trapped as well.
