Have you wondered how some recent CC's have shot up the rankings? They are using Play Now on Wolf Creek and using the Play all Par 5's from the Red Tees or Custom Selecting holes there.... This gives them two drivable par 5's in Tournament mode and you can get 600 - 1000 status points for just 4 holes played... They do need Gold Pins on the course to get that much....
Newer clubs are ranking up this way and some long term clubs are turning to it to stay on top.....
This is not a Cheat or Glitch to be very clear... I do believe however it is not in the spirit of what Status was supposed to mean and is definitely taking away from the experience of the game for others.....
Do with this information what you want, but hopefully this answers some peoples questions of how some of the status numbers are possible....
