Alright, today I finished up the rookie tour, winning the match play and skins game. Skins game came down to a clutch birdie put on the final hole to win 1,600 and finishe with 2,600, over the 2nd place finisher with 2,300.

There's a simple solution to that problem that will keep single player interesting: Create two profiles.

I have a profile with which I'm trying to go all the way in career mode, building an uber-golfer. Then I also have a profile with only seven skill points.

When I feel like kicking *** and going for a really low score, I'll use the first profile. When I feel like a real challenge, I'll use the seven-star player.

I'm assuming you're shooting -11 on Advanced. If you're not in Advanced, pull off the training wheels and go there.

If on Advanced, you also can use wind, tee distance and pin placement to increase the challenge. If you're shooting -11 with a 25 golfer with championship tees, hard pin placements, windy conditions (28 mph-plus winds) and rain on Advanced level, then you're really good.

            Just a suggestion.

            Take care,

I finally beat Neilson on Pro and then won the Skins game, so I'm on Championship now. Still loving this game. One example of why--I've only hit one approach shot (and I think only one chip) into the hole and no hole in ones yet. That alone makes it my favorite golf game.

Just won the 2nd tournament on pro, also getting my first non hole in one eagle. I'm getting a lot better now. Very rarely miss fairways, and I'm doing a lot better at getting the ball close to the pin to set up easy birdies. If only I didn't choke on puts so much.
