Re: Suggested Improvements for OS LINKS TOURNEYS

I DEFINITELY agree with the two day in between deal.

Either that or a no cut tourney that allows a single date to complete all the rounds although the cuts with the per round challengs adds more excitement and strategy.

but yes, some nights I barely was able to get my round in.

Whatever, it's not a big deal. Just that last tournament 25 out of 27 got their game in, and it's only 20-30 minutes a day, whenever you want.

But if it would be a lot easier for people, then whatever, no big deal to me.

Maybe we should just eliminate cuts, and allow it to be played over 5 days. Then even if you couldn't play everyday you could knock out 2-4 rounds in one day.

a formal setup like this wouldn't work for doing either but i like that idea best. have some tourneys that have cuts and go a couple of days and some that don't. i think there are advantages to both.

I think that is fair, to have some that run over 4 days and some that run over a longer period.

I like the cuts and the single rounds. That way you see where you are in comparison to everyone else as you go through the tourney.

Having some without cuts would work as well however. For example, certain non-majors could be without cuts.

                              2) Vary the conditions. I think there should always be championship tees and difficult pin placements. However, having 30mph winds every round is not realistic. I think their should be a mixture of windy, breezy and clear non windy days throughout the 4 days. There should at least be 2 really windy days but 4 is kind of odd. Mixing it up would be more fun.

3)I think we should create a season of sorts. We have 8 courses or so now with more on the way. I think that each course should be its own tourney and that their should be 4 majors.

For example Masters (at Oakmont) US Open (at any US course) British Open (at St. Andrews) PGA (at any U.S. course; Greywolf for example)

Create a money system to delve out money for the top 15. I will in fact volunteer to be in charge of it. That way we will be able to track average rounds per tourney, have a money list, etc.
You wouldn't have to participate in every tourney, just the ones you want too. Just like the real PGA. More money in major tourneys than non majors.

To #2, I love the British Open, that is why you have these conditions.

To #3, It is a good idea and if you would like to do that away from OS, that is cool.

However, with the recent problems that "official leagues" have caused to OS, I like the present system we have right now. Everyone just has fun and we don't "open" ourselves to cheating and whatnot. Just my opinion fellas.
