Re: Links XSN Tourney: Score Posting Problem

Well it hasn't been fixed yet.

I just tried for the third tournament in a row and only one of my 6 scores posted. And even on the one that posted I got an error message. It pisses me off because it looks like I never play the tournaments I sign up for. Good concept - absolutely crappy application. Come on, there aren't that many people playing Links (I wish there were). There are very few problems with SOCOM, Rainbow Six (xbox) and Project Gotham Racing which each have thousands more players. (I understand there are differences in servers, etc.). I can't believe that can't figure this out.

SOCOM, Rainbow Six (xbox) and Project Gotham Racing are not part of XSN. Since the problem is with XSN, they are unaffected.

When you get a patch, then you'll know the problem is fixed.

Clearly they are not part of xsn and I never implied they were. My point is simply that there clearly is a way to handle lots of data (and gamers) as it is done in much more popular games. I just want them to fix it because it is awfully hard to convince friends, etc. to use xsn when I can't even get it to work right. Not to mention that they have been hyping this xsn for months now. I'm not trolling - just wishing they would correct this issue.

I agree it's frustrating, but XSN does keep a lot more stats and info from games than say Rainbow 6. And even that had the ELO patched up at some point. That wasn't perfect either, now that I think about it, but XSN's issue is a whole lot more noticible, because when it's not working XSN's pretty unusuable.
