This week the LPGA moves to China for the playing of the Blue Bay LPGA. Many of you may remember last year's nail biting finish when Minjee Lee's birdie on the 72nd hole, was enough to defeat a charging Jessica Korda by one stroke. Ariya Jutanugarn finished just one stroke further back.

Here is my preview and lots more of this week's event:

                      Re: The LPGA Thread

This week the LPGA returns to the United States with the playing of the CME Group Tour Championship. This is the final tournament on the 2017 LPGA schedule. Last year's exciting finish saw Charley Hull and So Yeon Ryu tied for the lead with just two holes to play. Hull would birdie the 17th hole while Ryu bogeyed it, sending Hull home with a two stroke victory and the championship trophy. Ariya Jutanugarn who finished tied for fourth, hung on to win the one million dollar bonus.

Here is my preview of this week's big event:

If this was a Hollywood script, no one would believe it. Who would possibly believe that after 33 LPGA tournaments, the award for Player of the Year, the LPGA 2017 money title, The Race for the CME Globe (and the 1 million dollar bonus), and the player to finish the season in the #1 position in the Rolex Rankings, would all come down to the final stroke on the final hole of the final tournament. But yet that is exactly the way it played out at the CME Group Tour Championship.
