Round 3 of the Augusta weekly chewed me up and spit me out. +6 for the round that was the worst I've ever played in this game. Putting was off, approach was off, only thing salvageable was the driving. Currently sitting at E for the weekly.

As for yesterday's daily, wound up -3 with a couple of bogeys. Seeing the low score of -5 had me driven to catch it but I managed to come up a little short.

Well done at Atlanta, Koolie. Not an easy course and anything better than -6 on our settings is something to brag about.

Thank you sir. That course made me play a little more conservative than usual and I laid up on a couple holes and hit for the middle of the green on a couple par 3's and greens that were right by the waters edge. I chipped in for birdie on the 1st hole from the sand & thought luck might be on my side, but then parred the first par 5 because the wife came in and started telling me some story that I was not the least bit interested in but had to pretend to be. Threw me off, lol. The last par 5 with the long carry over the water was very tempting to try to hit Driver off the deck, but I missed the fairway and it would've taken a perfect shot to get over. I really wanted to go for it. It kinda hurt me to have to lay up on that one, haha.

I was mad at myself after Atlanta last night. I had 4 bogeys, the most in a single round in a long time and they were all missed putts from around 4 or 5 feet (ones I usually nail). Kept pushing them left of the hole. Had to settle for -3, I think that is what I shot, can't really remember because I was so pissed at myself.

I then went on to play my first round at Augusta but, I should have waited. Managed to shoot -2 but, I just wasn't concentrating after my round in the daily.

That's how I was on the daily yesterday. I couldn't hit the dame ball straight. EVERYTHING was off. I couldn't do this for a living...

Pins at AAC frustrated me yesterday. I think I hit 16/18 greens but I was ALWAYS either above the hole or pin high off to the right or left. This left me with mostly downhill breakers that I could not be aggressive at.

Took advantage of the par fives, only had one bogey, and got a luck chip in on 17 to shoot -3. The way I hit the ball I could have easily been around -6 or -7 but I didn't put the ball in the right spots on the green to be aggressive with the flat stick.

Frustrating round, but really as much fun as I have had on the course in a while. I am glad there are some courses like this in the game. Not a tricked up course, but needs an element of precision to score well.

On another note, handicaps did not change much from the Royal County Down daily. And probably won't see much movement after AAC, other than the fact that many people have 8 scores now so I will be including an additional round in the calculation. After this full week many people will have 17 scores ... so it will be closer to true handicap. After that, next week I will post course handicaps and keep track of a couple tournaments and see where people stand from a NET score prospective.

I made it to -6 on at AAC yesterday but was too aggressive on one of the later par 3's with water and hit it in the drink. I think I finished at -4.

Man those back nine pin placements on St. Andrews were rough. I was -7 under on the front but the back was hard.

I shot -3 @ AAC. 3 birdies and 15 pars. Heck, last week at TPC Sawgrass, i only made 2 bogies the entire 4 day tournament. My problem is i just can't hit it close enough to give myself enough makeable birdie putts.

I'm getting better though, so hopefully it's only a matter of time before i have a huge breakthrough.

I should have been playing for a chance to tie/win the daily at AAC yesterday, but I pulled a drive into the water on hole 7 or 8 and made a double bogey. Super frustrating after starting off the round pretty well (think i was -3 at that point) and the score to beat being pretty reasonable. I birdied 3 in a row at 11,12, and 13, but parred out to finish at 4 under. It always seems like I am a couple shots away from winning one of these things, I just can't seem to put a whole round together to do it. One of these days...

Oh boy. I was -7 going into 17 on the daily at St. Andrews. -8 was leading. Got a little conservative & played to middle of green. Got robbed on 3 putt. Then 18 I chipped to 8 feet for par. 3 putt again. The last was less than 4 feet. What a choke job, lol!!! Finished -4.

Finished -4 on the daily with 2 bogeys. Played pretty well throughout the round with no major slip ups. Turned in a bogey on 18 due to the pin placement. Landed my approach above the hole, put a nice slow roller toward the cup, missed on the edge, hit the slope and that's all she wrote. I always enjoy St. Andrews. Wide open but can be a challenge with certain pins like today.

Going to go through withdrawal not playing H2H the next 3 days..
At least I have the daily I can play in the AM's after work to help get through it.
