Well, it's allowed me to focus on the career mode this week.

So I'm leading the US Open by two strokes, on the final round last night at the 14th tee......FREEZE.



So...guess I'll replay the final round today after work. I really hope EA's freezes are a thing of the past on next-gen.

Or course I said that LAST gen, too.

Hope we get tournaments going again, I was lighting it up in those 2 and 3 man tournaments, never finished out of the top 3 and even got a couple of wins.

I think we just need a new GM? Big off, it's cool if you want to hand over the reigns to someone else. I can't do it but I love the CC. It's the only thing that feels "safe" to play.

Your GM may be experiencing the same frustrations that I am in trying to set up club tournaments for my club, via the EA Sports Country Club website. At least half the time I try to login, I get an error message saying the site is unavailable. Then more than half the times I get in, the requestors needed to enter your choice aren't there. Then there are times when it seems to take all of my inputs, and just crashes. What used to take me 3 minutes to do, now takes 15 to 20, and that's only when I can get into the site.

I've only missed being able to set 2, 1-rounders because of the website technical issues during the last month, but it has taxed my patience to my remaining level of passion for the game. It's like EA Sports has sort of let both sides of this game's functionality out to pasture.

Our club members mostly bailed out on the game more than two months ago, although I have seen a 40% increase in participation in today's special request event... Simulation settings with Normal Shot Shaping, Analog (ie non-fade) strike meter, and zoom to aim. We usually use the last two anyway, but there was a special request for a non-diagonal swing for a straight shot option. Yeah, we went from a field of 3 to a field of 5 players, with a couple more saying they're going to play later This out of a club membership of 25.

Just curious, how many players were active in Bushwood when you were having regular events? I'm wondering if you've had the same percentage of dropoff that we had, which was 75%.

I couldn't give you an accurate count...but the drop off is very steep because it has been a few weeks since a tourney was scheduled, and since NCAA foozball 14 dropped this week we only have about 5 or so guys playing any Tiger this week.

I honestly stopped playing the CC because of the same people constantly winning with scores that were just ridiculously high every event. Just became boring and pointless to play.

Not gonna lie, I lost interest in the CC for the same reason. I just couldn't compete. Felt the settings needed more variety

If someone wants to take over the commish duties, let me know. I'm trading this in to put towards my PS4 order, no later than Saturday. Hoff had me as a commish so I can give someone that honor if they want it, but it needs to be before I get rid of it. He no longer has the game and once I trade it in, there is no way to transfer commish duties.

Thanks for the heads up, it would have been nice to know this a few weeks ago. You know when were right in the middle of our FedEx cup. I guess this guy sells or trades his game and felt no obligation to fill anyone in.

So much for common courtesy.
