One round tourny shot a +23. I had no idea what I was stepping into with these settings, Draws, no grid or beads or putt meter. I was all over the place. Took like 3 OBs. I shot what I would shoot in real life it's to realistic now reminding me I suck ha.

He calls himself a displaced Seattlite, so what can you expect?

Yeah I know I am not that good so right now the experience and leveling my guy up is more important than if I shoot ****ty or not. Might as well get some benefit from it right. I started off decent than it all went down hill quick. I can't putt worth a lick in this game with a grid, without it forget about it haha.

My putting hasn't been TOO bad...but without a grid, I think I will have issues.

My TV is just 47" and I sit about 10 foot from it. I am just not sure I will be ABLE to read a green without a grid.

We will see...

I am still working on leveling up my CAF (I recreated him once I saw you could import XP from 13).

But I think this CC may just be a little out of my league.

Going to give it an honest try though.

How are you guys reading the greens? Can't see any of the breaks so it is like putting in the dark with a stick.

When your player is standing looking at the hole push back on the right joystick and it will give you the green statistics. Above feet or below and slope angle.

Putting for me iisn't that bad at all. I have been able to read the greens just fine. I burn a lot of edges that's for sure.

If you are on a green in real life and its by/over water chances are it's gonna break towards water. I take my time and look at everything including if my approach into the green was uphill/downhill so if I'm Pin High when putting if my approach was uphill then you better believe my putt is gonna have a break and vice versa. My makes are pretty consistent with real life. It just takes practice/patience and you will get better

I absolutely suck at this game! Especially putting!!!

For putting you absolutely have to use the "crouch" mechanic to see the breaks (not sure what the button is, on Kinect you literally have to crouch over). It shows you the slope and the angle of where the ball is and you can definitely see breaks of putts 20 feet or less.
