I'm excited about my improved play as my player gets better. It's amazing the difference it makes.

I'm in my first year of the Web.com Tour in career. I've missed 6 cuts and finished T9 in the only tournament I've managed to finish.

Right now I'm playing in the second to last even of the year, Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. It's at Pebble Beach. Currently sitting at -3 after 2 rounds... 1st place.

It's awesome how it actually feels like I've accomplished something to be in first. This game has taken huge strides with the simulation difficulty.

Are you playing on sim settings? I'm using CC's settings because I think it's more fun, I don't like fading strike meter because it's just crazy hard playing from the rough.

I started off on sim settings and changed it to our CC settings after a few tournaments. I wanted to have it set the same so I could use it as practice.

Looks like I'm going to have to pull the trigger on these DLC courses...

Quick question though. I have the Masters Edition, if I buy the 14 pack will that give me all the rest of the courses?

To have all the courses you'll have to buy the 14 course pack and the TPC pack.

I just pulled a Rory and walked off the course at today's daily. Rage quit, I'll try again tomorrow lol. I don't know how you guys find consistency with your swing, I'm all over the place. Today was even worse than usual though, couldn't take it any more. Gonna hit the practice facility, doubt it helps though. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am right there with you.

I just can NOT consistently move the analog stick in a diagonal direction. And then to have to hold the right analog stick in place...well, my last tournament was a +42....that says it all.

I was getting ready to do the same. 3rd hole of the 4th round tourney I hit 2 shots in the drink. Ended up with a 7 on a par 3.

Rotate your controller so that you are making a straight vertical movement with your stick but your controller is "diagonally" in your hand?

UGH. I just played my worst round in awhile in the one round tournament.

Finished +5 ... and I think I hit only 2 or 3 fairways of the tee. I was spraying the ball everywhere. Even had my first double bogey in days.

That one hurt.

I tried that but it doesn't make any difference.

What I find odd is I can make a PERFECTLY straight line going up down, but rotating the controller and using the EXACT same movement, just a squiggly mess...

I thought it might be my controller, so I tried another one (have four of them) and exactly the same.

I really have no clue what the problem is at this point.

Right now my plan is to get my power to 100 and then make my golfer a control golfer and see how that works.

For my offline play, I am using our settings with the difference being grid on and shot shaping normal. I am doing REALLY well with those two things being the only changes.

Can't do the single tourney cuz I don't have the course, and won't finish all four rounds in time. Meh looks like I will have to wait til tomorrow to play some CC. Gonna try to level my guy up in career mode after work tonight.

I have quite a bit of curve in my swing line but it doesn't matter, I can find the "11 o'clock" pretty constantly to execute my fade well. Use your imagination and try to find different ways how you hold your controller.

I sit in my armchair and when I make my swing the controller is resting on my left thigh and I use my first two fingers together with my thumb to make the swing. My "grip" looks like I'm picking up the left stick like it would be a strawberry or something.
