Yes, we start from scratch the day the patch goes live, all scoring has been suspended since its unnessecary work for me

YAY! Now I have time to go and level my golfer more lol. Maybe I can move over to a power golfer in time without finding the water, rough, and out of bounds every other drive

Currently #2 in the daily at -9. Missed the last birdie putt by mere inches. Man oh man I was feeling it. Best I've hit my irons yet. Also didn't have any putts longer than 20 feet that I'm famous for. That was fun. Good one to have wiped away LOL.

Think I finished my first daily with a +9. My dude is only just barely in the 40s for power and 20-30 for everything else. Still, I have some learning to do regardless.

What levels does my dude have to be to really get competitive?

Don't know if anyone was spectating me but I just had a ball get stuck in a tree--or the game froze!

I'm tired and laying down so I'm just slapping it anywhere in the daily since it doesn't count and I flare one into the right trees, and it never comes down, I waited a few minutes, hit buttons, nothing to swing at, lol.

I had another weird thing last week too, I had a ball go on the rocks, and there was no ball to swing at in the strike meter, not hidden like in the deep rough or times when there is only a tiny piece of the ball, just nothing, no ball. I guess if you play enough you see everything, lol.

Seriously though, I can drive... my putting is getting...... better but I am really struggling on approach shots. Once I get that I'll hopefully be shooting under par more often.

I'm still a control golfer. I TRIED to go power and it's still just too unforgiving for me. My driving is decent, I can hit about 8 out of every 10 fairways. My putting isn't too bad but my approaches are rough. It's not that I can't get on the green with my irons, it's just that I'm always like 20+ feet away. Right now my golfer is like 85 Power, 85 Accuracy, 85 in Putting, like 57 in spin and recovery (havent put any points into the workability).

I would assume that the "pros" in our CC are all power golfers and are pretty accurate being a power golfer. I've tried it, and thats how I got a couple of eagles, but for me I still cant cope with being a power golfer. Sure I will get the occasional eagle, only to drive the next 4 balls into the water

I'm certainly no 'pro' in our CC, but I'm at level 95 now. 90 in power, accuracy, recovery, and putting, and 70 in spin (45 or so in workability).

Power draw, I think. I hit right-handed, and it goes a little left.

I tried going 'control' a few times and power just seems to work better for me. Just use whichever works, there's no superior choice between the two in a general sense.

I was a control golfer until I hit about level 80. I just got tired of having to hit hybrids and woods into every long par 4's. I was getting pretty accurate with my control golfer so I didn't lose much ground switching to power.


Couldn't get the putts to fall in yesterday's daily, missed probably 6 or 7 by inches. I was off my game with my approaches yesterday, just couldn't stick it close with any consistency. I was on a hot streak for the past week or say, sticking most shots within 15 ft, yesterday I struggled to get that close. Most were in the 18 - 25 ft range. These courses that have trees blocking half the fairway drive me crazy, when was the last time they trimmed those things.

Still fun but trees definitely need work next gen, shouldn't even call them trees in the game, more like brick walls. It be great to have the ball react realistically to trees one day in TW. Sometimes your ball gets through them relatively safe. Sometimes your ball is knocked back 30 yards, sometimes you get lucky and it kicks into the fairway (love it when that happens). Most of the time I never see the darn thing again (this doesn't have to be in the game).

I'm a power draw golfer with high trajectory. It took me about 1.5-2 weeks to get my swing dialed in. Started off very erratic off the tee but am now constantly able to hit high % of FIR. I'm still good for 1-2 drives per round that I screw up by pushing stick straight up, instead of at the angle, but I've always been able to recover very well in this series.

Putting is streaky for me, from the 12-28 ft range. Some rounds I'm on fire, others I will burn the edges constantly. Anytime I'm over 28 ft away, I expect 2 putts and if I hole it, that's a bonus. I am consistently in the 27-29 PPR unless I'm on a hot streak.

The daily at Colonial, I hit every fairway(IIRC) except the par 5 on back 9. Birdied every hole on back except that par 5.
