Just raged quit the daily - and then this happened.

Wow those greens on the daily were impossible to read. Didn't matter what it said the putt was cuz it was 100percent never anything close to that.

Ummm...OK, LOL. I was -6 & tied for the lead going into 17 on the daily. I pulled my tee shot just a bit & ended up in the bunker down the hill just to the left of the green. I couldn't get out of the bunker. Hit 3 that rolled right back to my feet. Changed to a 3/4 swing & barely swung & went over green OB. I ended up with a 10 on the hole. SMH. Here I thought I might actually win a daily & I end up +1. I really wanted to rage quit that one. Big Baby & savetheturtles were on too, I bet they wondered what the heck happened to my score. Such is golf I guess, at least on this game.

I was in that same bunker! Luckily though I got out in 1 swing and got close enough to sink the next putt. (I think I sank the putt)
For some reason I have never had any issues with bunkers yet. One of my strengths in this game of knowing how far behind the ball to hit the sand etc..

Now I just need to get approaches more consistant.

Bummer dude. I saw you were killing it out there. Looked down for second, then saw you at +1 after being through 17 and figured it must have been a bush or something crazy like that. Whistling Straights is tougher than I remembered. Well done in the rest of your round man. Some of the deep bunkers can absolutely blow up rounds. I'm always scared when I find myself in an awfully deep one.

Honesty, just play the course safe. The greens are a little rough, but nothing that can't be two putted consistently.

Well that settles it. I suck! Well actually I've decided I'm no power golfer. I hit 2 fairways on the daily after changing from control to power.

Hoping I do better on the weekly.

I'm not following Matt10's rules, but if it makes the game more fun for him, then I am all about him doing it! To me, it sounds like torture!

Thanks, man. It's definitely torture, but it's a lot of work that is worth the grind. I know my golfer levels up, but does that affect whether I use the points though? I didn't think it did - of course I could be way off.

And that wasn't just a suggestion for online - it was for offline too. I've played in PC tours before and that's how a lot of them did it way back, it's an honor system - and I remember enjoying the game that way.

No biggie - just thought I'd share!

5 putted #13 in the third round. Was having a career round up until then. What a crappy pin. I thought my third shot was going to settle right by the hole and I would survive with a bogey. No such luck.

I consider this fair, since I birdied #17 at Whistling Straights today. Sweet justice of the golf course, I guess.

I tweaked my golfer a bit going with more accuracy and switched clubs.

First in-round freeze today on Valhalla, second tee, during the backswing. I noticed the game often stuttered during my backswings so it seems that this was inevitable. I wonder if it has to do with the animation of the "quiet please" volunteer.

Edit: was able to replay and submit score. Thank goodness. This course was way better than yesterday's nightmare.

Blew up for Triple Bogey on the Par 5 7th in today's daily. Somehow managed two water hazards on that hole alone. Threw one more water hazard in somewhere on the back for good measure. Took a Bogey on that hole. Pretty disappointed with those two holes. Otherwise, it was a solid effort.

I played a 3-hole H2H match last night and noticed in the daily I was using different clubs than usual, so it looks like I need to go back and reset those.
