    putting

Loving the demo just put my preorder in at Amazon
Question about the putting .. When a putt says it is uphill or downhill a certain amount how do we calculate how much power to add or subtract?

In tiger 07 for every inch the hole was above or below you just added or subtracted a foot for every inch

    Re: putting

That math works for uphill putts. It is similar for downhill putts, however, there is a subtle difference.

Example: You have a 15 foot put that is downhill 5 inches. If you used that basic math, you would want to go back to 10 feet. But at 10 feet, it may only be downhill 3 inches, so your putt will only go ~13 feet. You need to find the down hill point where the slope will add the right amount of speed. Maybe at 11 feet, it is downhill 4 inches, and that would get you the correct speed.

This is all an approximation. My general example will work well on average course conditions. When greens are slower, the ball won't roll downhill as much. When greens are faster, downhill will have a slightly greater effect. Uphill putts stay relatively the same.

Thanks I like the guess work in the down hill putts.
Also love the replay angle from the golfers perspective after you drain a bomb
