    Random Weather = Rain?

So anybody else set the weather to random? I've played 6 rounds and 5 of them have had ran in them... Should I just switch back to predetermined?

    Re: Random Weather = Rain?

I've had pre-determined set on mine, and the last round of every tournament I've played in career so far has been in the rain, or in heavy winds and rain with the exception of one. I've played 4 or 5.

I understand the final round should be a challenge, but... I've never seen golf played in a downpour either, they usually stop the tournament and delay... so.. uh... I dont know whats going on there. It's a bit frustrating though, at first I didn't mind the challenge, but now It seems like its just out of hand.

i think it makes it easier... the greens are even slower with rain. I hope that this is just a bad coincidence

cause I work swing shift and most of my rounds would be occuring at night time and I prefer to play day rounds

I just meant the wind was giving me fits. Sure its alot easier to stick shots and putt... my issue is just dealing with the wind killing my shots.

As for the live weather... yeah... I'm in the same boat, I play alot in the evening, and would rather play the game in daytime settings, rather than golfing at night all the time in the dark... which... of course never happens either. Much like golfing in the downpours. That being said, it sure is kinda neat to see the weather effects at times. They did a darn good job with visuals in this game IMO

Surely if you use Live Weather that only affects weather conditions and doesn't force you to play at the current time of day where the course is? I haven't got the game yet where I live in Asia, so I don't know from playing the game. Please tell me someone that I am right about this.

but you can set weather options and your individual tee time as independent variables of one another...

set your weather to "live"... and on another option set your tee time to whatever option you prefer.

live weather has nothing to do with your tee time setting.
