My golfer reverted back to the EA clothing (Not Playing Augusta)

Had my golfer revert back to the default EA clothing again today. PS3 TW14 HE.

He still had his glasses and socks....Everything else went back to that ugly default EA outfit that your stuck wearing at Augusta.

I had just finished playing a round at Atlanta in career mode. Went to spend my upgrade points when I leveled up after the round and and saved I had the EA clothing on.

Not a huge deal to change them back but it's a little annoying.

Would be nice to have this fixed.

Anyone else have this happen ?

Just copied this from the EA forums.

"This is a known issue. It happens when you play in an older era with your created golfer. We are working on a fix for the patch."


It also happens at other times....hope it get's fixed.

I haven't played Augusta yet, but they require you wear a traditional outfit? I can literally wear the same thing Tiger is planning on wearing this year @ August, but the game won't let me?

If that's true, then that's just stupid. I understand not allowing players use spin, but not customizing their clothing is dumb if that's indeed the case.

Yes that is the case. You have to wear default clothing at Augusta.

It has been that way every year that course has been in the game.

At least last year you could wear sponsor "uniforms" that looked ok.

The EA stuff looks awful.

I've never understood why you can't where any of the polos and slacks that are in the game on Augusta, that's what the pros wear. I'm a Tiger geek so my CAG always wears black pants and a red shirt. I love the crimson and white Bridgestone hat in this years game, that will be permanently glued to my CAGs head, the same goes for the hounds-tooth shoes! RTR!.

Augusta made that decision. They want a classy look when anyone plays their course...real or virtual.

I guess EA wouldn't put in some feature that would allow you to wear what are considered appropriate clothing for Augusta. I too am a TW fan and wear this years Nike TW collection both on the course and in the video game.

I find it odd that i can literally wear the same outfit Tiger is scheduled to wear all 4 days at August, yet it's okay for him to wear it, but not me.

With so many articles of clothing available it would take a huge effort to code a way to allow only a few rather than coding in the clothing they want you to wear.

I just wish they had a more neutral looking outfit without a huge EA logo on it.

I'm going out on a limb here but I'm guessing that Augusta didn't demand that there was a HUGE ea logo on the shirt instead of giving us a choice of sponsor this year.

Augusta is mostly against sponsors too. That's why it's commercial free and no ads on the course other than the players clothes.

I'm with you. I'm all for making Augusta special. I like that.

I just liked what they gave us last year WAY better.

They did let us wear sunglasses this year and that's a plus.

Just don't like the forced EA logo. It was better last year.

Wish they would give us an unlockable outfit option.

Sounds like Augusta didn't force the EA only clothing as I suspected.

Interesting read for sure.

I wish they could too....just like the ball drop issue, this is another example of the game engine running out of memory on the current console hardware and the new machines can't get here soon enough.....

I am happy with the game big time.

It's just so good it makes these little things stand out.
