Whats you least favorite course? (and Favorite)

Mine has to be Royal Birkdale.

Plane Jane as they come, the holes have no redeeming features (Hell, even the 9s don't have any features.

My favorite would have to be Bamff. It's just stunning looking, especially early morning.

Haven't played them all yet, but so far my favorite has been Kiawah Island. I also enjoy Spyglass Hill.

I don't think links courses translate very well into these games. They just feel very bland. YMMV.

It's hard not to say Augusta is my favorite--the back nine is a roller coaster, and, well it's just a great course with a lot of signature holes. I'm a big fan of the course roster this year; there are lots of a great tracks in addition to Augusta: Muirfield and Spyglass Hill probably in a tie as non-Augusta favorites.

havent played many yet. but my most favorite has to be peabble beach and its back 9. i think i birdied 4 and bogied 1 on simulation. least favorite would be atlanta athletic club. but i only play career right now and im only at the Web.com Opener

Favorite: Augusta

Least favorite: St. Andrews

I know it might be sacrilege, but I don't particularly enjoy playing at St. Andrews anymore. Really, only the Road Hole and No. 18 are fun for me. The rest is "eh" and it's been in the TW series for so long now. I'm just kinda bored with it.

Have always struggled with Torrey Pines, too long and too narrow until you level up quite a way.

Would have to vote Wolf Creek as my favourite, you really have to think about your shots with the huge elevation changes.

Least favorite: TPC Sawgrass. I'm not a huge Pete and Alice Dye design fan anyway (Though I like Kiawah and Crooked Stick), but other than the 17th, I don't get the allure of the course. The greens are quite straight forward with not a ton of mounds and elevation. You can get away with not hitting driver to keep it in the fairway and just blitz the course. It's just basically a driving contest and truly doesn't test 2nd shot skill or putting skill in the game or real life.

My favorite this year: Muirfield Village. Just so much variety with shot shapes and hole types. You have short and long par 5s and short par 4s and long par 4s that should be 5s. Very challenging greens with thick rough. Also, I have to give some love to Spyglass Hill. It gets overshadowed by Pebble and Cypress Point, but wow, what a golf course.

My least favorite course is all of the fantasy courses. they are more or less unplayable.

Beyond the obvious Augusta I like muirfield this year for the same reasons as the previous poster.

I have HE, all courses except waste of time fantasy courses, why can they not at least have realistically set up fantasy courses?

I hate those fantasty courses and refuse to play them. In my opinion if the course is not on any of the tours then it should not be in the game. That's just me though

I think Oak Hill is my least favorite. The fairways are so tight and lined with trees on both sides. If the game didn't have iron trees, I might feel differently. You are just penalized too much, even on good shots.

My favorite is probably Augusta (also really liked having the 1934 version, but I love history). Kiawah is nice as well. I haven't played all of the courses, actually probably have only played about half of them.

My 2nd favorite is Valhalla. That's the course I've played in real life, it's in my home state, it was the site of an awesome Ryder Cup and an awesome PGA Championship. I just love that course.

Yeah, tell me about it. I swear I tried for two days before I finally completed the 1980 Legend's Mode (Jack Nicklaus at Oak Hill). I had to get to -4 and I tried many, many, times before I broke through. However, it was quite satisfying when I finally did it.

Hint: You *really* have to keep an eye on the ball elevation in relation to your feet/stance. There's a LOT of downslope and upslope shots that can mess up your score FAST if you're not paying attention.
