Invisible tree on the 5th at East lake!

Fecks sake just stuck it in the bunker on the left and took 3 to get out as I kept hitting an invisible tree! Anyone else come up against this?

Hit a few invisible trees on the front 9 of Pebble Beach.

Both times on drives right down the middle of the fairway and out of nowhere you hear the crack of a tree and the ball drops out of the sky.

i really really hope EA know about this and they have this in a future patch (do we know if they are working on one??)

This is not a patchable item. They would need to go in and rework the collision detection for every tree on every course and that is not something that you would see in a patch. I do expect this issue to be vastly improved with the next gen version of Tiger where they can finally get away from the current engine that has so many issues and limitations.

lots of things are screwed up with trees

there are times where the ball is in a spot where its literally impossible to get out of line of the tree without taking 2-3 strokes.

also sometimes the way the camera is, you can't tell if you are out of the tree line or not

and finally.. balls shouldn't drop from the sky on the slighest collison with a tree. If i am right near a tree and i hit a punch shot.. the leaves shouldn't stop the ball dead like it does
