    Anyone have any golfing tips or strategies to help my golf game?

                                  LOL....great responses in this thread so far.

                                  Honestly, I say this without irony or sarcasm, but I actually think the golf minigame in GTA V is not significantly worse than console golf offerings this generation. And I am serious when I say that. To be factual: I've played more rounds of GTA V golf than I have of Tiger Woods....

                                  To the OP's question, I didn't realize until the other day that you could adjust your shot (power, normal, chip, punch) by hitting L/R bumpers, which makes your drives longer for sure. That helped me a lot. Also - don't worry about trees: you can hit the ball through them without distraction or deflection of your shots (they are purely cosmetic), so just go straight at the pin whenever you want.

                                  It would help if there were a manual for the darn game...

                                          I like it. It's a fun mini game so I don't have any huge gripes. It does what it's supposed to. Actually reminded me a bit of the earlier PS2/Xbox Tiger Woods games, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

                                          If Rockstar released this game as "Rockstar Presents: GOLF" (like they did with Table Tennis) I wouldn't think anything of it. But for what it is, it is what it is.
