Golfsprince, I did a little research and I see where this is coming from now. I went back to the thread that Merace had started about this in the Off Topic section of the official Tiger Woods Golf forum at EA Sports website. I take it you're "snoopy55" over there? So you've talked directly to a representative at HG Studios, and I guess he confirmed the PS4/XBox One release? I also found your article about this from last September at the GP Golf Report, which tells me more than I'd seen in the video that was linked in that thread.

I hope they're really on to something with this. I'm needing a good golf game release and support of my Fanatec GT2 wheel to push me off the fence about buying a next-gen console! If DriveClub supports the Fanatec wheels, as I suspect it will, I have an idea about which way I'll be going. I at least now know the HG Studios golf game will be on both.

Mind if I ask, where did you find the story at?

I wish I could tell you where I found it; I honestly don't recall. I know I find a good many of my gaming stories by searching from N4G (New for Gamers). The story I read was about HB Studios and the bit about the golf game was just a sub-section of it.

I did a little searching and they were saying in one article that it would be 8 to 10 months from September 10th, so maybe june the latest.

I would be delighted with a May/June 2014 release at this point, given the alternative of what will likely be a March, 2015 release of EA Sports' next golf game.

LOL... I see this was at me, looking back to page one. I see your point; I guess I'm a fan, but not a rabid fan. Didn't get to play my final round in the worldwide daily today, and I missed it. I guess I am a fan The real test of my fandom will come after The Golf Club is released, or so I hope.

BTW, I'd say this thread is pretty much moot now that The Golf Club has been announced for April!

Great find, guys! It appears as though it could look a little better for a next-gen title, and I hope the jarred framerate is due to poor capture. Still, I'll probably get it on launch.
