Just curious, is there a way to see this? Can you watch replays of their rounds somehow that shows the meter?

Oh wait... I'm assuming ghost balls and playing turn based to see their golfer maybe? I did a turn based thing with a ghost ball one time for a few holes but don't recall if the meter showed, hmmm

Yes ghost balls is one way but most likely we'll be working closely with HB and their data to make sure we are as accurate as possible.

With that being said, there are ways to guarantee yourself of 100% accuracy on every shot via a controller attachment/modification. Then it just comes down to a math game and making appropriate adjustments with the wind and on the greens.
The thing I like most about this game is how unforgiving the shot meter is in terms of missing the perfect swing. At least from my experience and my scores should support that LOL

I have never used anything like that myself but an online friend was telling me about this a few years back. I'm sure many of the insanely low scores on the TW games of the past, and quite possibly this game are helped out by this type of cheat.

Personally I don't see the fun in doing that but I know there are plenty of people out there who have to win, in any way possible.
I understand, I certainly didn't think you were necessarily accusing anyone here of cheating. I just never heard of such a thing before.
Yes sadly it amazes me the extent ppl go to to win a game online, it's pretty ridiculous imo.
Your scores...? Lol yes sadly iirc my scores were just below yours... Lol

Thank you for the information and for the effort in trying to keep things on the up and up.
As stated earlier in some ways online is a sad state of affairs, unless of course ppl can get a small group of ppl that can be trusted as best as possible anyway.
I certainly will try this out though and see how I fit in and see how well my time available will fit in also.

oh wow! that should keep out the riff-raff for sure. I had no idea that there were ways to modify your input device to nail a perfect shot every time...

kinda defeats the purpose IMO. but I am definitely interested in the TCG tour. hopefully it is as fun as it is shaping up to be!

and we can always put together a few OS tours from time to time. I think it is a safe bet that we, as a community, keep things pretty much on the up and up.

Edging is when you use the edge of your mouse pad or desk so that you get a straight line every time you push the mouse forward. As others have stated there are peripherals that basically allow you to do the same on a controller but one would have to be really desperate to win if they went out and actually paid $ to gain this sort of advantage.

My feeling on this is that while it would be nice to have an opportunity to win now and then I've always just wanted to shoot my best score and let the chips fall where they may. Getting onto the first page of the leaderboards or even a top 20 can be just as satisfying at times. The way this tour will be run sounds great.

Success! Finally able to continue. Really struggling on these courses. +4,-2 and +6 so far. Very fun competing against everybody though.

I can't log into the TGC Tours website today. I created my account and was able to log in last night but now it want take my password. I've also tried the "forgot password" link but when I click on "email link" I never receive an email. Anyone else having issues?

There is one thing I don't like about the site. You can see the list of members, with there names and online name, without singing into the site. I really think that should only be visible to other members once you sign in and not out in the public view.

Both these issues are fixed. The reset password functionality should work for you now.

What happened to the Q School practice event, I can't find it anymore? I played the first round a nights ago and now it's gone. I see a different Q School practice event but it is locked.
